Lots of happy sunny portraits today.

Of course there was lots of swimming today as usual. When Cocoa first hit the water I swear I could hear her sizzle 😉 The lovely chocolate Collie in the water with her could have been Cocoa’s brother! They looked so similar 🙂

Look how good the pack are at waiting in the car…

P1150719

Treat??

P1150720

All dogs should be taught how to wait like this until they are invited out. This logic not only applies to cars but all doorways. An open door should not mean dashing through. It is easy to teach and just requires repetition and patience. Here are the gang demonstrating how its done! Good dogs!

Tuesday in The Dell…

We had a lovely sunny chilled out walk today in The Dell. Murphy joined us again and was a star as was the rest of the gang.

Chasing Ella and Smudge would keep any dog fit! They are quick pups!

The mountain goats…

Blackford Hill is one of the most beautiful walks in Edinburgh. If you have not been there yet then definitely go check it out! There are many walks that range from pretty vertical mountain tracks to nice cruises along the river bed. We covered them all on Thursday and my pack just proved again how agile and full of energy they are especially on the craggy cliff faces. This crew truly are athletes and more than capable, they just eat up the distance no matter how challenging the terrain. It is a joy to watch them.

Down in the vally for a dip for starters before heading up, up and up!

P1150638

Nearing the top of one of the ridges, Cocoa and Smudge have not stopped for a seconds rest! Boy do these dogs have a lot of energy!

Can you spot Ella the mountain goat? She may be cute and fluffy but she is a machine at eating up tough terrain like this. She covers distances like this in seconds!

Frenchie Boys Brigade…

Marvin, Oscar, Ella, Molly and Cocoa were all great on the hill on Wednesday. Marvin and Oscar were thick as thieves, I think it is safe to say that Frenchie run together hehe.

P1150632

Gus’s coat is just a little big for you aye Oscar 🙂 Still does the job though. The wind was searingly cold on Wednesday!
