A Wolf in the Woods…

OH MY GOODNESS ITS A WOLF ON THE LOOSE!!! hehe…..

My partner John and I have been lucky enough to meet this stunning Wolf Hound and his owner (and Dachshund playmate) at Cramond on a previous occasion. I spotted him at Cammo Estate the other day and was struck by how, out in the fog like this, he looks like some ancient wild predatory creature!

On with the Friday walk! Archie and Gena were in a great mood, as always!

The day can’t decide which way to turn…hmm to rain or not to rain….

We are happy to welcome the lovely Miss Jess to the crew, a extremely bright seven month Border Collie who will be joining us for Flexi-walks.

Jess very quickly made friends with Maud and Winston, though she was not feeling brave enough today to follow them into the river for a paddle! Maybe next time…

Woohoo!! Sorted my blog problem so we are back in business! And what a crazy busy week it was, here is the catch up folks! Monday to Thurday 🙂

Ruben joined us on Monday for his second walk with he team. He dotes on my Molly, as you can see! She doesn’t think he is all that bad either!

You can get an idea of how big Ruben is probably going to get, this is how tall he is next to Molly and he is only 18 weeks!

Nothing quite beats enjoying a lovely morning in The Dell, no matter the weather its always beautiful!

Archie has been recovering from a cut paw, he had lead walks only this last week to let it heal and although it must of been very frustrating for him he was a complete gentleman. Such a super boy 🙂

Friday already!?

First week of 2014 has gone very quickly! So happy to see all my wonder puppies again, I had some super enthusiastic kisses from Archie and Gena when I saw them yesterday which was wonderful! Honda is also a fan of the chocolate duo, who wouldn’t be!

We had just a little shower when out on the Friday lunchtime walk, we all took it in our stride though. Some doggies (ahem, Maud) actually revel in the mud….which you will see below!

It has been a fantastic first week back. The weather has turned colder again, which believe it or not is a good thing as it means no rain, woopee!! There has been the odd shower here and there but all in all we have had a lot of gorgeous blue skies to walk and play beneath.

Hello all my lovely blog followers!! I hope you have all had a wonderful holiday season and are now raring to get back on the horse and charge towards 2014 😉

Gus, Molly and myself had a lovely time with all our friends and family over the past few weeks but were very much looking forward to getting back out on the walks with all our four-legged pals again! And what a day to start back on, wowee it was a bit of a wet and wild day out there today! We were all dressed to the nines in our wet weather gear so that we could splash around and not freeze our little toes and tails off!

We were especially excited as this morning we had a little newbie start with us! I am very happy to introduce Ruben, a 16 week old Boxer pup who is joining us on a Monday morning for socialization and to learn the basics! Ruben was great on his first walk with us today. LOVED my Mollydog as expected (all dogs love Molly) which is absolutely perfect as Molly is very calm and pretty much 99.9% obedient, the best dog for him to take notes from in other words hehe! Ruben stuck to either my side or hers for the whole walk. We worked on walking on and off-lead, recal and greeting new doggies politely. All of which he got a gold star for! It was really too wet to be taking too many photos but I managed to snap a couple. Welcome Ruben!

Ruben is already a tall puppy! He has long legs and big paws, he’s gonna be a BIG lad!

He already sits and waits for a biscuit too, oh yeah, you will fit in nicely here Ruben my lad ;D
