Photos, photos, photos …

This seems to be a never-ending stream of photos! I’m STILL trying to work through my collection from August 2016 until now! Such hard work looking at all these fuzzy faces….not!

Summer dreaming…

Yes, we are STILL working through the summer photos! What can I say, I take A LOT of photos lol! It it nice with the weather turning cold now and the clocks about to go back (boo to dark mornings, wah!) to look back on all that gorgeous weather we had. Everyone complains about it at the time, hindsight is a bit of a b*tch aye 😉 hehe…

Without further adieu… I’ll start the reminiscing with a group shot bonanza! img_77801

I love this one…

Olly and Smudge, two of my oldest clients. These two lads have been with me from the very beginning. It makes me so proud to have had such long term clients, to be able to continue watching these amazing dogs whom I love, grow from pups into such beloved friends.

Gus and Molly do Scotland (Part 1.)

Well it has been a very eventful week! We simply cannot wait to see all our friends tomorrow!!Yippee!!!

Here a little blog post on what we did with our time off, we would just like to take a moment to promote the amazingly wonderful Dugs N Pubs folks, whose fantastic website helped us plan our amazing camping trip! If you haven’t visited it already, get yourselves over there to ogle all the amazing trips and places you can visit with you four-legged best friends!

http://www.dugswelcome.com/

First stop for us was Belhaven Bay. It was an amazing weekend weather wise with the first day being one of the hottest! The sun shone until the very last-minute, it was stunning and we had a blast rolling about in the sand and enjoying the epic blue skies. All this and only 40mins drive from Edinburgh!!!

Happy sunbathers…

P1220471

Yes don’t mind me guys, just have a wrestle right next to my face…ta!

P1220473

My BEAUTIFUL girl. Words simply cannot describe how much I love my fuzzy teddy-bear.

The big-man posing for me. He knows how to work the camera!

Sun setting over Belhaven Bay.

P1220483 P1220484

After breaking camp the next destination was Tyninghame Beach! It was not a sunny but believe me it was hot!! I so wish I had brought my swimming costume! The water was crystal clear and so inviting.

P1220488 P1220489 P1220490

You could be forgiven for forgetting you were in Scotland here, this stunning stretch of coast looked more like New Zealand!

P1220495

Fluffy teddy paws in water 😀

Molly-moo swimming in the sea…with just a little encouragement 😉

P1220497

Gus as you can tell is not up for it haha! Though he did have a little paddle with Mums help and support. He is not the most confident in the water, though it is the fastest way to cool a hot doggie.

P1220499

Thanks to a lovely local lady we met out on the beach walk we were directed to this fantastic wild camp ground just over the ridge from the beach. Gorgeous….

P1220506

Molly the next morning refusing to get up! After two days of extensive beach walks my two munchkins were very sleepy and more than happy to laze about in their sleeping bags whilst I read my book 🙂

P1220503 P1220508

After our super lazy morning we then broke camp and carried on along the coast to visit Tantallon Castle! I have to boast just a little bit now, the lovely man at the front desk said that although the dogs were perfectly welcome (on-lead) into the castle it has steep steps, and so we would probably not be able to see it all as the dogs may struggle. Did they heck!! My doggies got loads of attention from other tourists, taking photos of them as we climbed all over this amazing relic. My darlings were beyond well-behaved, wowing the men who were there to supervise visitors with their calm and obedient behaviour. Proving once again that your dogs are at their happiest when they are with you and will overcome any obstacle as long as you are there to guide and support them. They relished the challenging terrain, Gus especially was loving bouncing all over the castle and insisted that I lift him up to look out over the surrounding coast when the walls were too high. He even asked to be lifted to look down the staggering 36foot deep well!! (And no need to worry folks I had a firm hand on him each time so he was in absolutely no danger)  They took the whole thing completely in their stride. I couldn’t be prouder, I could have burst with pride!

‘None shall pass!’

P1220537

At the top, ‘Yup check us out Mum, climbed the castle, like a boss!!’

P1220528 P1220524

A stunning boxer we met outside Tantallon Castle, ‘Please come and play with me!’

P1220543

Next stop, North Berwick!

P1220547 P1220546

Exploring the man-made swimming pool on North Berwick beach. What a lovely sea-side town, could happily live there! Such a beautiful part of the world in general, everyone should head here at some point for a fantastic doggie day out! We even had lunch and a pint at the dog friendly pub ‘The Ship Inn’ situated in the town centre about ten mins walk from the beach. All in all we had an amazing camping trip and I will be returning to this area for sure! Perhaps with some of clients doggies at the weekend when we have time, after all its only about a half hour drive away from Edinburgh! Look out North Berwick we will be back! xxx

Mud-Pie and Bluebells…

It has been a little while since my last post, we have started building up some footage of our walks again for another little Four Seasons Movie! So watch this space! I was inspired to make another one after watching the amazing youtube clip below. I have to admit pretty openly that this video is amazing and I’m WELL jealous!!! I think that its a better music video for Pharrell’s song ‘Happy’ than the official one! Plus that cat must literally be the coolest cat that ever lived, surfing and swimming like a dog…oh yeah!

We are enjoying the springtime sunshine when we can get it!

P1220216

Mister Ruben was sporting a sore shoulder last night. Even though he was fine this morning and bouncing around like his typical Boxer-pup self we though it best to have a leash walk today…colour Ruben none too impressed!! Its just to be on the safe side puppy honest! Back to normal tomorrow!

P1220217

Lush green woods…

P1220218 P1220224

Everything is so beautiful this time of year!! What you can’t see in these photos is the sheer number of bugs though :/ My legs (and weirdly my ahem….bum) are COVERED in bites…..ARG!!! SO ITCHY!!

Belle of the Ball…

The sun has returned!! Yey, after a very wet week where my poor camera has barely seen the light of day! We had some lovely walks today, every member of the gang (am & pm!) was on top form. I am so truly blessed to be able to spend my days in the company of such gorgeous, happy, loving dogs. I’ll never need a therapist…ever! Feeling down? Well here’s 12 happy faces ready to give you cuddles and kisses!! 😀 Oh yeah…

I also have a new puppy lady to introduce today, her name is Belle and she is a four-year old Golden Lab. And as you can imagine, she is as sweet as pie and having a ball staying with us! She did three-hour long walks with me today, met ten new dogs (not including the ones we met out on our walks!) and didn’t bat and eyelid. Off lead from the word go, perfect recall, great manners in general! In fact the only thing we had to teach her today was not to jump out of the car boot until she is invited. Remember folks an open door should not indicate to your pooches to dash out! Teaching your dogs to wait until they are given the go ahead to jump out, down, go through etc is all about keeping your dog safe, and teaching them this rule can go a long way in seriously preventing nasty accidents from happening. Belle did brilliantly, she is definitely getting it and I bet by tomorrow she will wait when the boot is opened! After all, dogs just want to get that treat, or be told how amazing they are!  I must give credit to Belle’s owner Paula, Belle is a fantastic dog with them most even temperament. When you spend time with a Labrador like Belle it is so easy to see why people love them…no not just love them, are obsessed by them haha!

Two of my favourite happy faces…’Ball, ball, ball, ball, ball, ball…’

P1220134

P1220135

Ruben is growing into a big strong lad! His Mum and Dad showed me a photo recently of his Dad, what a belter of a dog. Love watching this pup grow, can’t wait to do the comparison shot in a years time!

P1220139

Almost the whole lunch crew in…Belle’s tail totally counts teehee!

P1220143

More splashing about required now that sunshine has reappeared!

P1220144

P1220145

One final walk of the day, can’t waste that beautiful sunshine! Time for some portraits with my home-team up on Craiglockhart Hill.

P1220151

Good posing Gus, you know how to work the camera! Shame about the random person behind you, photo-bombing your shot!

P1220153

Belle’s turn, look at those sparkly amber eyes!
