More rain…and ‘The Dude’

Spoke too soon at the weekend, boy did we get wet today!! And muddy, no I mean seriously muddy!! I had to take Winston and Rocket-Dog swimming after the second walk as they were so muddy I couldn’t see how I would even get them from my front door to the bath tub without leaving a trail black sludge behind us!

This is little Murphy folks (say ‘Hi’) who is with us for just four short days. There is no other way to say this, Murphy is ‘The Dude’! He is literally the coolest little dog. Sat shotgun with me, slotted right in with the pack cool as a cucumber, off lead straight away, speaks perfect English….Not a dog, a wee-man in a dog suit.

I am very happy to finally be able to introduce Tillie! Tillie will be joining us every couple of weekends when her Mum has to work. She is a delight, four stone of sweetness, my goodness I love Bulldogs!!! I simply cannot wait for her to meet Maud-monster!!

How handsome is Ruben becoming! Starting to loose his baby face, just a wee bit. Still a ways to go though, its great seeing him grow and mature.

Check out Winston’s epic skid mark, yes it was worth it, he got the ball! It was honestly like six foot long, so worth a photo. Booboo was so proud!

They always manage to find the only puddle in the field to wade in….I’m telling you its a crazy skill my munchkins have…

Molly and Maud-Monster playing chase. Maud is one healthy Bulldog keeping up with a Retriever and a Cocker Spaniel, makes me so happy to see. Every Bulldog should be able to run, exercise and play like this. I love the breed, but hate seeing the ones that cannot walk far or run because they are too heavy, short legged or have breathing problems (amongst other hereditary issues) . Maud is one of the best examples I have ever seen, she may never be a fly-ball champion but she is most definitely happy and healthy. Her breeder should get a medal.

Happy New Year!!!

Hello all my lovely blog followers!! I hope you have all had a wonderful holiday season and are now raring to get back on the horse and charge towards 2014 😉

Gus, Molly and myself had a lovely time with all our friends and family over the past few weeks but were very much looking forward to getting back out on the walks with all our four-legged pals again! And what a day to start back on, wowee it was a bit of a wet and wild day out there today! We were all dressed to the nines in our wet weather gear so that we could splash around and not freeze our little toes and tails off!

We were especially excited as this morning we had a little newbie start with us! I am very happy to introduce Ruben, a 16 week old Boxer pup who is joining us on a Monday morning for socialization and to learn the basics! Ruben was great on his first walk with us today. LOVED my Mollydog as expected (all dogs love Molly) which is absolutely perfect as Molly is very calm and pretty much 99.9% obedient, the best dog for him to take notes from in other words hehe! Ruben stuck to either my side or hers for the whole walk. We worked on walking on and off-lead, recal and greeting new doggies politely. All of which he got a gold star for! It was really too wet to be taking too many photos but I managed to snap a couple. Welcome Ruben!

Ruben is already a tall puppy! He has long legs and big paws, he’s gonna be a BIG lad!

He already sits and waits for a biscuit too, oh yeah, you will fit in nicely here Ruben my lad ;D

Enjoying our last few walks of the year.

We are all enjoying our last few walks of the year before the Christmas and New Year holidays start. It was Honda’s second walk out with the gang today and he is definitely enjoying the company of the other doggies. When they run it’s all a bit exciting! Honda is doing brilliantly though and is settling in fantastically with the gang.
