Well sadly I suppose it was bound to happen at some point in my career! Being out and about on the hills all day everyday, one day I was bound to hurt myself! Actually my family know me as one … Continue reading
We have had some lovely weather over the last few weeks, shh, don’t scare it away! I have to admit though we are all very much hoping this is a break through for the Spring season so we can finally say good by to the horizontal rain and sleet. We still LOVE walking in our beloved city’s open spaces, but not a single pup or two-legger could deny that a little sunshine goes a long way to making our adventures more enjoyable. Come on Spring! We are ready for you!
Check out these beautiful blue skies! P.s. Don’t be fooled its still freezing! Gloves and hats required but hey, its not raining!!!
Two truly wonderful models in the form of Gus and Moomoo. All that adorable squishy goodness!
This lovely shot of the crew and Arthur’s Seat ruined by my shadow photo bombing haha!
Ruben and baby Bramble continue to be inseparable. Their antics are hysterical and endearing all at the same time.
Crazy face competition.
Dogs in a row…
Can you spot Ruben? His tiger-brindle coat is doing its job here! He is no more than four feet in front of me and all but disappears! Amazing…
My beautiful lady…is in serious need of a mother-daughter spa day. This girlie needs a hair cut and a bath pronto!:D
Gus falling asleep sitting up after the morning walk. Its such a hard life aye munchkin?
So much cheeky-monkey in one photo! These lads would keep anyone on their toes 😉 They are so much fun to work with.
Oh no….they found a plunge pool! Queuing up for a mud bath!
We love Bramble…
We just can’t get enough of these gorgeous mornings…
A little bit of winter still remains up in the Pentlands. Miss Bramble was very bewildered by this snow man in the woods! I had to go up with her to show her there was nothing to be afraid of, and then she nicked his arm! Poor snowman hahaha!
After all our outdoor adventures nothing in this world can beat cozying up and napping with my dogs. This is Molly and I’s traditional sleeping position. Sleeping alongside your dogs is not only a fantastic bonding experience, but it is also extremely soothing and the best stress reliever for you and your dogs. Gus by the way sleeps curled up behind my knees, so I have a hot water bottle AND a teddy bear! Bliss….ZZZZzzzzz
It has been a little while since my last post, we have started building up some footage of our walks again for another little Four Seasons Movie! So watch this space! I was inspired to make another one after watching the amazing youtube clip below. I have to admit pretty openly that this video is amazing and I’m WELL jealous!!! I think that its a better music video for Pharrell’s song ‘Happy’ than the official one! Plus that cat must literally be the coolest cat that ever lived, surfing and swimming like a dog…oh yeah!
We are enjoying the springtime sunshine when we can get it!
Mister Ruben was sporting a sore shoulder last night. Even though he was fine this morning and bouncing around like his typical Boxer-pup self we though it best to have a leash walk today…colour Ruben none too impressed!! Its just to be on the safe side puppy honest! Back to normal tomorrow!
Lush green woods…
Everything is so beautiful this time of year!! What you can’t see in these photos is the sheer number of bugs though My legs (and weirdly my ahem….bum) are COVERED in bites…..ARG!!! SO ITCHY!!
Maud and Colin make a bee-line for the muddiest puddle! Part dog, part hippo…
Proud as punch with herself now!
Molly whizzing past, I’m surprised I managed to take a photo of her at all 😉
Enjoying some dappled shade…
Everyone with their head in a bush….
Off to play chase in the paddock, woohoo!!!
Some Bluebell shots from the start of the week…
It has cooled off tremendously now but it was down right roasting this morning! We were very much reminded of last summer. Lots of water splashing required to stay cool! I was wishing I had worn my sandals, my feet were cooked!
Smudge having a swim whilst his girlfriend Ella plays life guard 😀
My roasting hot toes were begging me to join them! Audible sizzle!
Ella saves the ball from going over the waterfall, nice one fraggle.
Arg…so frustrating when you come home to discover a good photograph is unfocused…boo.
Smudge and his big buddy Honda, we had the whole field to ourself this morning, nice!
Wee-man enjoying the tranquillity.
Little and large.
Stopping for a much-needed drink.
Phew! This ball chasing is hard work in the sun!
Moomoo, what a dog!
And just a quick catch up with our Tillie walks at the weekend!
My goodness the weather was certainly throwing us through a loop today! This morning it was sunny, then raining, then freezing cold gales, then sunny again…and repeat!! The conditions were literally changing every ten minutes, I’d no sooner got my body-warmer in my bag before I’d have to stop and pull it out again, geewizz…..
This lunchtime though it settled on sunny, woohoo!!! And the photographing could commence 🙂
How regal does Prince Booboo look in this shot, what a poser 😉 xx
‘Boys in the Wood’ (hehehe)
Come on Andie, it’s not that steep! (Puff puff, pant!)
Rippling muscles Winston, no wonder Molly swoons over her toy-boy 😉
Where did that squirrel go?? Just after I got all the way up here too!!
Frenchie frolics, and wee-man shouting, ‘Hey! Wait up guys!’
A beautiful quiet day in the woods, just how we like it.
Back home and its snoozing time. My new ‘cuddle chair’ has very quickly become ‘Gus’s cuddle chair’….sigh….
Queen L.V. is with us for the weekend and has been very quick to resume her place on her throne (aka our queen sized bed!) At 13 this lady is more than welcome to sleep where ever she pleases. xXXx
