Hoping for Spring…

We have had some lovely weather over the last few weeks, shh, don’t scare it away! I have to admit though we are all very much hoping this is a break through for the Spring season so we can finally say good by to the horizontal rain and sleet. We still LOVE walking in our beloved city’s open spaces, but not a single pup or two-legger could deny that a little sunshine goes a long way to making our adventures more enjoyable. Come on Spring! We are ready for you!

A little bit of winter still remains up in the Pentlands. Miss Bramble was very bewildered by this snow man in the woods! I had to go up with her to show her there was nothing to be afraid of, and then she nicked his arm! Poor snowman hahaha!

After all our outdoor adventures nothing in this world can beat cozying up and napping with my dogs. This is Molly and I’s traditional sleeping position. Sleeping alongside your dogs is not only a fantastic bonding experience, but it is also extremely soothing and the best stress reliever for you and your dogs. Gus by the way sleeps curled up behind my knees, so I have a hot water bottle AND a teddy bear! Bliss….ZZZZzzzzz IMG_4688[1]

Internet Free Zone…

Well hello strangers! I am afraid due to a misunderstanding with my existing internet company we have been without internet for oh, quite a long time now!! So sadly once again we are very much behind in our photographs and blogging, seasons behind in fact! I will start back tracking, so it may be slightly confusing as to begin with we will still be going over some summer photos first! We are VERY much missing the summer weather right now, its FREEEEEEEEZING in Edinburgh now. However we will get to that soon enough. For now lets reminisces about some lighter, milder days gone by…

Baby Giorge is fast loosing his puppish looks, he will be a big-boy before we know it!

Poor Colin cut his pad on one of our walks last week and needed stitches 😦 Until he was all healed up we have been visiting him at home, which he was not so impressed with I have to say! On his mini walk around the block (with a waterproof boote on to protect his bandage) the tough wee lad kept trying to drag me to my car! “Why aren’t we going walking?! I’m totally fine!!” Major guilt trip!! But needs must I’m afraid!! I’m slightly redeemed in his eyes by bringing cheese slices and beef twists! ‘Hmpf, well if that’s the best you can do Auntie Andie…I suppose your forgiven…maybe.”

Louis, I think its super flattering that you only have eyes for me…but do you ever wonder why the others are pretty good at ambushing you? Lmao!!

Woohoo!!! We did it!! Thats us all caught up folks. Time for bed, where we dream of tomorrows adventures with all our beloved friends xxx

Happy to be back!

Well we had a fantastic time away, but it was fantastic to come back to work too!! We missed all our friends on four paws, and judging from the amazing welcome we got they missed us too!

Poor Mr Honda has a sore leg, but has been in good spirits and is slowly recovering. Woop, woop! We have been taking it easy on lead walks and resting too. It has been very warm this week, Indian summer! So we have all been enjoying little stops along the way for drinks and cooling down.

A very sunny afternoon on Craiglockhart Hill, every time I walk up here with the dogs I am sad that Edinburgh Council have sold the nature reserve and university buildings for development. Its a crime….

It has been very warm this week as I said, but we have also had some very very foggy mornings too! When the fog burns off we have been left with blazing sunshine and cloudless skies. I could definitely get used to this weather! Autumn is on its way…

We are all very much enjoying our luxury new ride, whoop whoop, traveling in style! After starting out the week in tragedy (some horrible person smashing my back window then driving off and leaving me without so much as a note!) we are now all settled in and I have to say super impressed with the custom dog-guard and boot divider. The spacious Volvo, who we have named ‘Zeus’ 😉 , has also been kitted out to perfection with a back seat dog-hammock and brand new doggie seat belts throughout! Oh yeah, pimpin puppy wagon….

Mud-Pie and Bluebells…

It has been a little while since my last post, we have started building up some footage of our walks again for another little Four Seasons Movie! So watch this space! I was inspired to make another one after watching the amazing youtube clip below. I have to admit pretty openly that this video is amazing and I’m WELL jealous!!! I think that its a better music video for Pharrell’s song ‘Happy’ than the official one! Plus that cat must literally be the coolest cat that ever lived, surfing and swimming like a dog…oh yeah!

We are enjoying the springtime sunshine when we can get it!

Mister Ruben was sporting a sore shoulder last night. Even though he was fine this morning and bouncing around like his typical Boxer-pup self we though it best to have a leash walk today…colour Ruben none too impressed!! Its just to be on the safe side puppy honest! Back to normal tomorrow!
